30000 layer farm layout
In the 30,000 layer farming project, you can use a 4-tier layer cage with a capacity of 72 birds for its highly efficient performance while taking as little space as possible. To raise 30000 in a house, 417 sets of cages are needed. The layout of the house features three rows, each with 139 sets of cages per row.
Layer farm size calculation
Length of 30,000 layer farm: 104 m. The length of the chicken house can be divided into three functional zones. The space for the egg collecting machine and manual operation, the space for the chicken cage, and the manure removal system inside the wall.
In this design, the length of the egg collection zone is 4750 mm, the chicken cage length is 685 mm × 139 = 95215 mm, and the length of the manure removal equipment is 3600 mm. So the total length is 4750 mm + 95215 mm + 3600 mm = 10365 mm.
Width of 30,000 layer farm: 9.4m. The width of the farm is the sum of the width of the chicken cages and the width of 5 aisles for daily management.
The width of one cage is 1250mm. In this chicken house, the two aisles next to the walls are 1280mm each, while the 2 central aisles are 1480mm each. So the total length of the chicken farm is 1250mm×3 + 1280 × 2 + 1480 × 2 = 9270 = 9.27 m.
Height of 30,000 layer farm: 3.5m. The height of the chicken house is 3.5m, which can accommodate the chicken cages and egg collecting machines, also good for chicken ventilation and climate control in the layer farm.
