A 5-tier H type layer cage system was installed in West Africa in 2021. The client chose this H type layer cage to build a 50000 layer farming project. 

Client background

The client is a large farm owner and has previous experience in poultry farming. 

Core requirements: As for this particular project, they want to build a more efficient chicken farm to expand the breeding scale. 

Project concept

The stable and smooth operation is essential for a medium- to large-scale battery cage system. Since the client has planned their field area, we make a design solution for the 50000 layer farm to balance efficiency and productivity. 

The h type 5 tier layer cage can accommodate more birds while taking up a small footprint. To build a modernized poultry farm, automation facilities play a key role. This project is a fully automatic layer cage system, including automatic drinking, feeding, manure removal, egg collection, and climate control. 

The complete system can help our client save labor force and costs, increase chicken feed effciency and avoid waste. The chicken manure treatment is conducive to the health of chickens, and good to environment.

Project details

The size of the chicken house is 106x12x4m. 212sets of H type layer cages with a capacity of 240 birds are arranged in 4 rows, making a total of 50,880 birds. It is necessary to take into account the loss of chickens when making a breeding plan.

Laying hens house size: 106x12x4 m

H Type layer battery cage: 53 units/row, 4 rows, 5-tier
